SANTANA MOSS

 

A walk-on for the U. of Miami Hurricanes’ football team in 1997, Santana Moss went on to become Miami’s career leader in all-purpose yards, receiving yards, and punt return yards.  Moss was an All-American and Heisman Trophy Finalist in 2000.

 

Drafted in 2001 in the first round by the Jets, Moss had four stand-out seasons in New York before being traded to the Washington Redskins, where he played for 10 years.  Despite Washington’s revolving door of quarterbacks, Moss was one the NFL’s most explosive players and accomplished receivers during his years with the Redskins, and he has the statistics to show it.
